Genie and Andy, Halloween Beach Wedding
Genie and Andy knew each other in high school, and two years ago, a chance meeting in a parking lot brought them back together. As I saw how they honor each other with care, attention and honesty, like many guests (including the candy girl, aka flower girl), I was moved to tears by this union.
Sam and Cammile, 40 Knots Winery Wedding

Dave and Chantel, Cumberland Forest Elopement
Dave and Chantal quietly said “I do” on a Tuesday afternoon. Chantal looked stunning. With some nerves and excitement, she made the quiet walk up to join the very cheerful Dave at the top of Devil’s Ladder to exchange vows. The marriage commissioner Craig Gillis, myself and one guest all knew we were part of a very magical moment.
Maggie and Jordan, Port McNeil Wedding
Watching the bond between them and their people was a highlight of the wedding day for me. The moms could not stop smiling at each other, friends were giving each other knowing looks, and the hugs were flowing freely. The wedding party was so kind, gushing with their love for these two. They were constantly checking in with me and my assistant Sara to see if we needed anything – truly the most thoughtful, not to mention hilarious, bunch

An amazing example of what is possible.
Jacquie and Paul Forbidden Plateau Wedding
Before their afternoon ceremony, we headed above the clouds to a peak overlooking Comox Lake. After photos, we joined back with the guests, where the charming Barbara Densmore oversaw an emotional flower ceremony. She shared some words from the bride and groom about each person and then handed them flowers. These flowers were passed to the bride as she came in, and formed a very meaningful bouquet.

They arrived to each other in such a beautifully natural way. With a love sitting on years of friendship, shared values and creativity, they now have their right person to move forward with.
