The Arts
I have never been on the stage. I don’t play an instrument. I was asked to mouth the words in elementary school music, and I can’t do much with a paintbrush. However, I am an exceptional fan-girl, a mom to a theatre kid and I started my career photographing live music. I enjoy the collaboration I have with some of the Comox Valley’s premier dance and theatre organizations and artists, such as Lucy Schappy. Together Lucy and I created a portfolio of images that would set her up for three years of various self-promotion opportunities.
Professional Services
Caterer, realtor, massage therapist, counselor, investment advisor - all the professionals I work with pour their heart into taking care of their clients. And you can expect that from me. I will work with you to help identify the right “feel” of your images to connect with your client and then we will create a selection of images that fits your brand and has you ready for your marketing. Richard Verrier and I created black and white portraits, images of him in a new home and photos on the beach with his dog to fit his modern and warm sensibilities.
The Community
Working with not-for-profits and healthcare is a passion of mine. I have extensive experience telling stories and a respect for the essential role these organizations play in the wellbeing of our community. Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation is one organization I create for frequently. Together we have worked to ensure their website, and their fund-development are connecting with their market, while ensuring the process of creating photos is respectful, safe and ethical.

Eatmore Sprout & Greens
Eatmore Sprouts is a Comox Valley farm known throughout BC for their fresh, locally grown, organic sprouts. I spent the day capturing life at Eatmore Sprouts.

How do I get started?
Fill out the contact information sheet below. The more information you can give me the better I am able to move us forward in making your photography plan and provide you with a custom photo. If you don’t like contact forms, pick up the phone and call me at 250.703.3486
What can we expect in working with you?
In addition to delivering top quality images, I will brainstorm with you and ask you many questions. That is how I work. Yes, I could just show up and take some photos, but isn’t it in your best interest if we first get clear on your needs and options? So I like to get curious. Then we can create images that will connect with your clients and fit your brand.
What if I only need a simple headshot on a studio background?
Currently, unless your team needs a minimum of four headshots, you are already a client OR we are creating the headshot as part of a larger brand package, I am not taking on commissions for a studio headshot on a studio background. If you do want an environmental portrait though (in photo speak this means a photo taken outside or on-location) I would love to work with you.
Will you help us with where we should photograph and what we should wear?
Absolutely. There are some very easy tips I will provide to ensure you are representing at your best.
Do you travel?
Yes, I travel throughout Vancouver Island and Powell River.
What are your fees?
Once I know your needs I will provide you with a custom quote. Services begin at $600, I offer smaller options for repeat clients.
How far ahead should I book?
I limit the number of commissions I take and while I can occasionally book sessions on short notice, I often book three months ahead for new clients, and 3 to 6 weeks for repeat clients.
