Erin and Gil-Philippe Shelter Point, Campbell River Wedding

Their story: Wow – this wedding was phenomenal. Imagine a wedding where there was no stress, only laughter, some happy tears and dancing feet. Erin and Gil-Philippe dropped into the island from their home in Montreal to celebrate their wedding in her home town of Courtenay. Gil-Phillipe’s family came along from Quebec. This intimate affair was graced with the beauty of some west-coast snow, quite different from what they experience out east.

After some photos in the fog, the couple headed inside for snacks, whisky-tasting and of course, their wedding ceremony. The ceremony was filled with warmth, emotion and full of joy. Afterward, the duo, who met in swing classes, hit the floor and showed us how it is done.

Smart. yes. Stylish. yes. Focused on being themselves. yes. Funny. yes. This is the couple you want to hang with. I am so glad I was able to do so on their wedding day.
