Sam and Cammile, 40 Knots Winery Wedding

Vancouver_Island_Winery_wedding_9.jpg

Who: Sam & Camille

Their story: The location, the decor, the hair, the food, the makeup, the dress – it was perfection! Most of all though, it was the bride and groom. They were grounded so naturally in the moments of the day – the words being exchanged, the knowing looks, I could feel them absorbing the meaning of the day which allowed me to let their joy, gentleness and love shine brightly in photographs. The ceremony was officiated by a celebrant and brought in so many special moments of Sam and Camille’s history and their dreams for the future. After the ceremony and some photos in gardens, the couple enjoyed a stunning Tria Culinary meal and then headed off to meet me at the beach. YES! We were able to photograph during sweet light at the beach. This rarely happens at weddings as the timing does not line up. However, it did and it was incredible. After the beach photos, we headed to the Comox Military Base where the party continued.

This wedding was beautiful – I know its cliche, but I have to say it, they shone so brightly! Thank you so much for having me. I loved every moment.
