Brooke, Comox Valley Grad 2021

𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐞 - 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏

We started the evening with Brooke and her close friends, a friendship that goes back to elementary school. It was a joy to witness their connection, ease with each other and their differences. After which we headed to do some photos with Brooke and a few of those she loves. Brooke was a joy to photograph, I so enjoyed her sense of self, love of the little things and openness to what is to come.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫?

The hardest thing this year was coming to realize that I’ll be graduating high school and that I’ll have to make hard decisions and I won’t get to see my friends as often as I would like.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬?

I’m proud of my grad class because we have all gone through so much, and it has gotten even more difficult during covid-19, but we have all managed to get through it.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐲?

My best high school memory is when my friends and I would text each other during class and then met up in the hallways to take a walk if we were feeling overwhelmed.

I’m going to celebrate and enjoy the summer with my friends and keep working at my current job until I can make up my mind on what to do next.
