If you know Rachel you know she is exceptional. She has a unique, introspective way of seeing the world and if you have had the pleasure of seeing her dance, you know she is full of expression. This evening was such a joy, full of talk about favorite things and dreams. For both they are many. I have no doubt that Rachel, who is full of independence, curiosity, and bravery will meet all her dreams - academically and artistically and that a life full of adventure and meaningful moments awaits her. Rachel, thank you for this peaceful, joyful evening and I cross my fingers that I will once again get to see you on stage dancing.

I look forward to discovering new music and having peaceful evenings. I look forward to being happy to be awake, and to reaching my goals. As much as I like routine, I look forward to changing immensely.โ

Mr. Green. He is very cool, and also very kind. There's so much, but that's the best and most effective way I can sum it up.โ

The best moments were anytime there was rain, wind, biting cold, or all three; anytime I played music, or danced. Dancing has changed the way I see beauty. The power of it, the grace and control โ I measure everything by it. Itโs flying, really, even though thatโs quite possibly the most clichรฉ thing ever.โ

This is what I learned from the hardest things:โ
-I've had to face my limitations and realize that sometimes there comes a time when backing out is the best option.โ
-People are complicated. They always have their hurts and their reasons, and even though they may be honest and well-intentioned (deep down), that doesn't mean they can be reasoned with or should be forgiven.โ
-You shouldn't ask for or accept help unless you know exactly what the helper's expectations are. Be careful โ If youโre going to tell something about yourself, make sure it wonโt get used against you.โ
-I can watch the sunrise and take comfort in the fact that I am insignificant compared to the scale of the universe and the colours in the clouds.โ

Iโm going to work on not being afraid of asking for help, and on procrastinating less. Iโm going to make good art and make good friends. Also might like to be an anesthesiologist.
