The level of service and expertise from beginning to end makes it such a pleasurable experience. And we have great photos to treasure. It’s like a gift forever.
Sometimes when a potential bride contacts me, I feel like I am holding my breath as I open up my calendar to check my availability. Not every time, but it happens that someone sends me the sweetest inquiry, they know my work, and seem to already “get” me, which means, I will “get” them and that genuine honest connection that I like to have with my clients will flow naturally and immediately. That was the case with Cindy and Kevin. I think I would still be cursing if I hadn’t been available.
These two are beautiful. I could end my blog post there or just repeat that over and over. Their connection is what everyone dreams of. Together, they are building a solid life for themselves and their adorable two girls. They are driving in the same direction. She appreciates the hard work he does in Alberta, misses him greatly when he is gone – and celebrates when he is home. He honours the amazing mama she is while pursuing her schooling.
Their wedding, and them, made perfect sense to me. A day with close friends, no stress, and an emphasis on the meaning and reason behind the celebration.
The sun shone down as Cindy followed her girls and best friend down the aisle, alternating between tears and smiles. Kevin sat waiting with a grin that could light up a room. After exchanging vows they enjoyed the breathtaking, elegant environment of Tigh-na-mara over snacks and photos.
Kevin and Cindy, I think your day was perfection. I could eat up those two little girls of yours, and visit with you two and your friends until the sun went down. You two, well, you have it figured out. Thank you for sharing that with me. xoxo Karen
