In a house full of close friends and multi-generations of women Rachael buzzed about, relaxed, and excited, yes, about the wedding but really about the marriage. A while later, as he graciously welcomed guest to his marriage ceremony I overheard a guest telling Nick how exciting it was that it was his wedding day. His reply, “yes, but this isn’t really what I am excited about it, it is about Rachael, and our life together.”
Their day was beautiful, full of community, planned and unplanned moments that brought laughter, rich with meaningful and important vows, and brimming with the happy easy going atmosphere that they had hoped for
When I first met these two at my studio, Racheals first words were,”yes, we are young.” She made me laugh, and then this couple went on to further impress. Rachael is a pipe fitter, and Nick is on his way to pursuing engineering, they have more of a plan then most. They are incredibly connected to their families, but yet, it was clear throughout the day that they also stand alone, together – they define their life as a couple. I was, and am, inspired by them.
Thank you Rachael and Nick, for bringing me into your day. Please believe my sincerity in saying, there was something in your day that inspired me to change the way I see an aspect of my life. Thank you for that gift.
You are an adorble duo, with fabulous friends and family. I imagine so many adventures and much laughter in your future and I look forward to following them.
