Melissa and Will say I do with tenderness

When you mention Melissa and Will, their friends and family, tilt their heads and say “awwww” with their expression. If you know them, you are probably doing that right now. I know I am.

Their is a tenderness between them. They are that couple, that you are just so happy for. They both are hard working, kind, grounded and intelligent, with an underlying softeness that deserves to be nurtured and treated with tender care. Melissa and Will give each other that. You can feel  the trust and strength they have for each other as they navigate the life in front of them with their boys.

Melissa met Will on her first day of Anatomy Class, he was her handsome instructor. The two endured three years of flirting, awkward  moments and forced “chance” meetings. When Will  was no longer his instructor, he was over the moon when Melissa asked him on a date.

This wedding was a such blessing to be photographing. I first met Melissa many years ago, and she left an incredible impression. Not only have I photographed her many times, but I have the good fortune to call her a friend. Doing what I love, for someone I care about, in a room of friends, was truly special to me. Melissa and Will thank you for that.
