Like many these days, Laura and Scott met online. She was living in Tofino, him in Courtenay, but knowing she would would move back eventually, she took a chance on connecting with him. After their first date – she knew.. like Scott says, “it just took off.”
Laura is one of those people that are just a joy to be around, she feels with every bit of her being, honestly, on the wedding day, every bit of her was vibrating. It was just that happiness, well, and how adorable she is, that drew Scott in.
Laura saw in Scott, kindness, his knack for looking out for others and an irresistible romantic streak.
Their Kingfisher Oceanside Resort and Spa wedding was just that, romantic. As she prepared with the girls, Laura could not stop peeking out the window, giggling and fist pumping. Her dad’s arrival to walk her down the aisle was one of the most beautiful I have experienced, as he carries that same exuberance as Laura.
The ceremony, under some moody beachfront skies was full of huge smiles, and of course, a fist pump or two. The rest of the day, celebrating, cuddling during photos, visiting, was relaxed, but intense with joy. These two glowed, along with their wonderful family and beautiful family.
