Love the way you work as a team. Fun and creative and very in tune with your clients all of the time. Thank you.
Friends, I am so excited to let you know we are running another one of our workshops. Thank you to everyone who put some loving pressure on Boomer Jerritt and me to make it happen. If you have any questions, please buzz me 250-890-9222 or email email@example.com. Register HERE
These workshops tend to sell out quickly and it is the only offering Boomer and I have together in 2019.
March on Hornby Island, with its stunning array of seascapes, natural rock
formations, cliffs at Helliwell, low tides at Tribune Bay, and sunsets at Grassy and Tralee Point
invite the photographer to create, explore, and further develop their photographic skills.
The event will center around shooting in the field at sunrise with indoor sessions at mid-day and
shooting again at sunset. In past years we also delved into night-time photography with star trails
and flash work on the beach. Lots of fun!
Photographing on location combined with lecture, demonstration, critiques and Photoshop tips
help to round out the participant’s learning experience within the framework of a fun and
stimulating group situation.
One of the questions we are often asked is, “how much experience does a participant need to be
able to come on one of these workshops?” This workshop is designed around both the technical
and visual design aspects of photography. Participants do not need to have been
shooting a long time to be able to take advantage of the tour’s learning environment. It is open to photographers of all skill levels.
We would, however, recommend a basic working knowledge of one’s camera, being familiar with
using it in Manual mode, for instance, allows for the greatest learning experience. A digital 35mm
DSLR with interchangeable lenses is necessary to be able to take full advantage of the creative
abilities of the photographic medium. A tripod and a way to download your photos during the workshop is also
necessary. Other than that, all one needs is the ability to want to expand their creative expression
and to have some fun in a learning and supported environment with like-minded individuals.
This four day/three night workshop includes ridiculously delicious meals and accommodations (provided by Hornby
Island Dive Charter at Ford’s Cove). There are single and shared rooms. Single rooms are on a first-come, first-served basis.
All for $985 (tax not included)
March 22 3 p.m. to March 25 at 1 p.m.
To book your spot with Boomer and Karen a deposit of $300.00 is required, and balance is due
January 30, 2019. Deposits made after December 31, 2018 are non-refundable.
