This is more than a job to Karen and Christine – they really really love what they do and it shows.
Erin and Ryan ushered in my summer wedding season with me, it was an incredible way to start the season. They had such joy and love that my assistant and I kept looking at each other and mouthing “they are amazing”.
After becoming engaged during a bike ride through Amsterdam, surrounded by sheep fields and windmills, these two came home to Campbell River and planned a wedding focussed on family and on each other. It was meaningful to do their portraits beforehand, peacefully (well, with a lot of laughter,) on their stunning property. While the setting was special, it was truly the relaxed energy these two had that set the tone. They were present, joyous and projected this air that said “we are just where we should be, with all the right people.”
The ceremony was set against a stunning arch, made by the groom, and the mom’s were not the only ones who couldn’t keep their eyes from tearing up. After a meaningful ceremony and some portraits at the beach, everyone eased into a party that felt like a reunion of friends and family.
It truly was just what you want in a day, family, meaning, great food and tons of laughter.
Erin and Ryan, having you in front of my camera was my pleasure, your kindness and warmth was felt by all. Enjoy the photos –
