The pictures Karen took of our guests, especially family, were so wonderful. She caught a picture of my son in which he is looking the happiest I have ever seen him. I truly treasure these photos.
This is just my first blog post about The Tempest, there is definitely more to come.
Oh heavenly! Seriously – photographing costumes, talent, drama and getting to indulge my passion of working with light! This photo session to promote Courtenay Little Theatre’s production of The Tempest was so fulfilling. I get super excited when I am invited to collaborate and in this case it was with an old friend, and well known talent, the director Robinson Wilson
Oh, and it is all a little extra special because my daughter is in it.
The show is running at The Sid Williams Theatre, just had it’s first run and will run again April 13 to 15 th.
Some of the feedback I have heard from the show:
“… It’s visually stunning, and the actors tell the story very, very well…. Go see this show. ”
“…Thank you for making it easy for a first timer to understand…”
“…the actors were absolutely intense…”
“…can’t wait to see it again…”
“…all the way home all we could say was SO GOOD over and over..”
“…gorgeous production, beautifully crafted…”
“…beyond ALL expectations, we were captivated…”
This show is so worthwhile, and I would definiltey encourage you to see it and don’t be intimidated if you are new to Shakespeare, you will be surprised how funny and accessible it is.
