Integrity? Yes. Quality? Yes. Much needed in the Comox Valley.
We needed this guy. As someone who photographs many events, I am so thrilled to have Rob Bowker join our community of vendors. He recently launched his business Vancouver Island Audio which provides PA systems that sound amazing while being easy to carry, set up, and look good. I was super impressed with how easy my clients could have one of these set up on the beach (note to wedding clients, while we love beach weddings and the sound of the waves crashing, it makes me sad when your guests can’t hear your wedding ceremony.)
His business just launched and already I have seen him out working events such as the recent Local Hero Awards, a Kus-kus-sum event, and the Shellfish Festival this past weekend.
A significant part of what makes all events in the Comox Valley so special for our clients is the way the vendors pull together in a ridiculously supportive way to take care of our client. My clients consistently comment on how well we all work together and the value that added to their event. We always have the best interest of the celebration in our heart and it shows. – sometimes that means the event rental company setting up a ladder for me to climb up last minute and a server holding it steady, or the photographer who is there early directing traffic, the caterer packing a last minute snack for the couple who are heading out for photos – we just all jump in. I even often help sample dessert :). It is this integrity and understanding of the big picture that adds extra meaning to our work and brings that “Comox Valley something special” to our clients and you fit right in with that vision we have for our client’s experience.
I should also mention that Rob is a musician, so as well as understanding the needs of an audience, he is able to talk to the talk with performers and service their needs.
So thankful to have you as a collaborator and welcome to the business community. Looking forward to good sound on the beach for summer weddings, and toasting after jobs well-done.
Your website looks fantastic – thanks for having me out to create with you. Again, you can find him at Vancouver Island Audio.
